I suppose, Madonna was not the only one who had a bad day today while falling off the stage
during BRITS Award ceremony performance 2015 (I hope she is OK!).
Today I had a bad day too: for starters, I cut my finger quite deep while chopping vegetables for my lunch; secondly, I had a massive row with few co-workers while guest from another branch was visiting us at work. I was extremely upset as I was called in to a ‘naughty room’ by a manager to make matters worse.
All that time I was super-angry and kept thinking I let other people upset me and make a negative affect on me.
Looking back, I can see where I should have done things differently. And believe me, it took a lot of courage for me to make that walk back from bathroom where I tried to cool down (my face was bright red) back to office. I knew other people saw me being taking to a naughty room (I am a star worker in the office and I personally dislike passionless and lazy people). I knew people knew and there will be opinions and whispers. Just like Madonna: people will talk about it. But you have no choice but to carry on!
So, what should we all do when we are having a bad day? There are few lessons I have learned today:
DO HAPPY THINGS AS SOON AS UPSETTING THING HAS HAPPENED: You have to distract yourself to stop thinking of whatever upsetting just has happened to you. For example, after today’s incident at work, I was talking to people Ii like and always have a good laugh or hear good story: whether someone bought sofa or funny work-related story. Or get coffee. Anything to take you back to happier moment.
REFLECT ON THE EVENT AND EMBRACE IT AS AN EXPERIENCE: yes, things do go wrong in life. And we all make mistakes. But #LIVING IS LEARNING# and you should embrace it as an experience – something you can learn about yourself or others. Make Lemonade Out Of Life’s Given Lemons!
AVOID SIMILAR EVENT IN THE FUTURE: now that you happier and learned something new, ideally try to avoid similar situation in the future: you rather not to get upset once again – your mental health is most important.
I hope you had a good day! And if not – please share it: misery loves company!
Pretty much everyone would like to lose weight little bit there or there. The real reason for failure to lose weight is your mind-set: if your mind is not ready to lose weight, your efforts will be worthless.
1. MOTIVATION – motivation is directly equal to your weight loss success. Your motivation should be so strong, that no challenge will scare you. Keep your positivity up and continue working on achieving results.
2. HONESTY – how honest are you with yourself? You say that you are doing your best but not able to lose weight? Take time to reflect on your eating habits: how much food and how often or when you eat? Starving all day but eating late at night?
3. PREPARATION – ahead of you is a journey which will challenge you. You will have to work on yourself, change eating habits, move your body more etc. there will be a lot of physical work involved in your daily routine, your body and mind will be challenged because if you won’t make changes, your weight won’t change.
I know how hard is to lose weight: this is something I am going though at the moment myself. Just be honest with yourself. Try to choose healthier options: always try, and If slip out of the way, make sure you will get back on the track ASAP.

Separate egg yolks from egg whites (beat all 4 eggs into a bowl, then gently scoop it out egg yolks with the tablespoon and place it in separate bowl).
Beat egg yolks, and whisk egg whites with electric hand mixer until fluffy and light.
Boil water in the kettle and pour it the saucepan and keep it over medium heat.
Put chocolate and butter into heatproof bowl and place it over the saucepan (make sure the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water).
Stir melted chocolate and butter until smooth mix, then add coffee, vanilla extract, sugar, beaten egg yolks. Continue stirring.
Add spoon by spoon whisked egg whites. Use electric mixer to evenly incorporate egg whites and smooth the mixture.
Preheat oven: put the oven to 180 degrees.
Cut a piece of baking paper big enough to cover the entire baking tin right upto the top.
Spoon the mixture into the prepared tin and evenly spread all over the baking paper.
Bake it for 35min – brownie mixture will be spongy and puffy while baking.
Take tin out of the oven and leave it to cool (as soon as you will remove baked brownies out of the oven it will loose the body by half of the size). Remove baking paper with brownies out of the tin for a faster cooling.
Decorate with sugar powder and cut in even pieces.
I have never read a single book from ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’, I went to cinema to watch the movie purely out of curiosity: everyone is talking about this movie. It was a must-see.
The movie start with quite a lot of funny moments. Towards the middle and the end of the movie, the movie became darker. The very last scene was so upsetting and dramatic, that I actually shed few tears. It was such a good end, I cannot wait for the sequel.
The is no doubt that Director Sam Taylor-Johnson did a good job: given the original story, the movie came out being elegant, good quality shots.
To be completely honest, Dakota Johnson was the obvious star of the movie: she clearly has a talent, and the right personality plus looks to play shy young student Anna. Where’s Jamie, I always thought, was the wrong choice for Christian Grey’s role. And I could not be more wrong: he played role really well: he was confident, caring, strong and protective. He played well in dramatic scenes and he was well prepared for the dominant part of the role. He was great.
Both actors did a good job portraying a couple with such an intense chemistry.
My fiancée who refused many many times to go to cinema (I quilted him into it), he loved the movie, and we both cannot wait for the movie to come out on our movie box. And the sequel.
